OUCH!

So today Noah was being a good boy and throwing away one of Gwen's dirty diapers. Well I think he was running to go up the stairs, he must have slipped and hit his face on the stairs. Poor kid.

We were afraid that he might lose his tooth, it was pushed back a little. It looks like he most likely will keep it, but we have to keep a look on it for a few days to make sure.

He was so good at the dentist. He even asked to go back there again. Funny kid!

Our Little Green Monster

So this is the best picture I could get of her. She is just so wiggly!

Noah came up to me and said got marker all over her. I asked him if he colored her, and he told me no. Well after seeing her I totally believed him.

Her hands were all green and the marker that she has on the top of her head is a hand mark. So funny. Lucky for us, it was a washable marker. Apparently markers are tasty. Try one for yourself today!

Dance Face!

So I have been putting on the radio in the morning and the kids have been loving to jam it out. Well the other morning Noah was scowling at me and I asked him why he is making such a mean face. He said "Mom, this is my dance face." I think I may need to check myself out in the mirror when I'm jamming out, just to see if I look like that.

Silly kid.

Sorry no pics of that. Way too early to consider using a camera.

Girls trip to San Francisco = BEST HUSBAND EVER!

This last weekend I took a trip to San Francisco with my sister Trish to visit my other sister Julie. We had a wonderful time shopping, talking girl talk, shopping, eating, shopping, more eating and what else? Oh yes, SHOPPING!

I never get to just take my time in a store with my two kids in tow, and if I am alone I am trying to hurry so I can get home to my kids. This time I was taking my precious time, even ask my sister Trish who decided I was the slowest shopper ever! I loved trying on everything. There was this cute little store where I tried on about 10 headbands. Now these headbands were so unique and inventive. I wanted to take them home. But when the elastic band headband with a cute sparkly buckle on it was $65, I decided that trying on would be much more fun than spending all my money. But seriously these headbands were crazy awesome! There was one that looked like laced silver, another that had feathers on it, but it wasn't tacky. If I had some place to go, like a fancy party or something I would definitely like to sport that one. And my favorite what the wirey one that actually looked like an inventive hat that you would pin on the side/top of your head. If you miss this before, it was SERIOUSLY AWESOME!!!

It was so nice not having kids, but I also missed them terribly! But this trip wouldn't have been possibly without my generous sister Trish who let me use a buddy pass for the airplane ride. Plus Julie letting us stay at her house. Love ya Jules!

I feel like I am saying an acceptance speech for an award or something. hahaha.

Last, but certainly not least, the father of my children and the love of my life, Jason!!! He not only took care of the kids while I was gone (taking three days off of work to do so), but he also cleaned the entire house and made me feel so relaxed and special. He is so thoughtful and sweet. AND HE'S ALL MINE!!!

So if you are still reading, I'm sorry, but happy you aren't as bored as I thought others would be reading this post!

I wish I could take this trip every year. It really rejuvenated me and I feel like I can be even a better mother because I was able to take a little breather and be selfish for just five days. I love my kids, but ME TIME is a necessity to stay sane! I recommend this to anyone.

Pirate Noah, aka Captain Jack Sparrow!

So Noah had a preschool Halloween party today and he was so excited to put on makeup for his pirate costume.

Here is what it looked like. I just love the eye balls on his eye lids. A true Jack Sparrow if you ask me.

I couldn't get him to look at the camera in this one, the eye patch is so distracting.

Arrg!

One tough Pirate!

Moe, Bob & Franky

For Family Home Evening last Monday we carved the pumpkins we got on our hayride at Day Farms. The bottom one is Moe, middle one is named Bob and the top scary one is named Franky. Never a dull moment with kids. I love it!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a farm nearby and they let you come (you do pay $5) and go on a hayride and pick out your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time.

Waiting for the hayride to start

I just couldn't resist putting her in this cute outfit. Thanks Zoe!+

Pumpkin Girl & Daddy!

I Love my Mummy!

'nuff said.

Spooky Lamp

So the other day I look over at our lamp and this is what I saw.

Noah thought it was the greatest scary lamp ever. He also took some pictures with the camera, but those didn't turn out so well.

Our LIttle Stair Climbing Machine

Gwen can now climb an entire flight of stairs. She really learned this in just one day. I think she was waiting until she could be perfect at it and believe me, she is!

We are still helping her learn how to go down without falling, but no scary tumbles so far. I hope we can keep it that way.

What a Cutie!

A Two Seater?

So I copied this from my friends blog. Sorry Shauna, this story is just way too funny not to be told more than once:

Yes, I did visit this bathroom! I laughed as soon as I walked into it. I thought of my friend Brooke when I saw this.

Here's the story; She was in a stall once and the door didn't lock so she was doing her thing and trying to hold the door closed when someone pushed against the door. What would you yell out? "Taken" or "Occupied" or "Just a minute!" no not Brooke. She yells "Whoa lady it's a One-Seater!" Now what would Brooke say if it was this one she was using? "Would you kindly pass me some tissue?"

I have tried to come up with a few captions for this picture. Which one do you like the best?
1. Friends that pee together stay together
2. Some read and some just talk to pass the time.
3. A new meaning to girls having to go to the bathroom together.

Okay so I kind of understand if you have an extra toilet and not an extra stall. Just put it in the Handi-cap stall right? It's big enough. (no, I don't understand it that way either) But couldn't they have put it next to each other so your not gazing into the others eyes and you relieve yourself? Okay I am done.

P.S. This was in the good ole' Orlando Airport.

Family Fun Weekend!

This was our Family Fun Weekend. And as you can see we really did have lots of fun. The pictures are posted in the opposite order of what happened, but I don't really care to fix them.

We started out the weekend with an adult game night with all the siblings and their spouse. We played "The Party

Game of Curses" which by the ways is super fun. Our favorite part was our screaming, fainting, tongue-biting, Super Girl! And also Thomas' wonderful cheerleading show! Good times making fools of ourselves. What we are good at right?

We then went to the Planetarium at the Gateway and had some fun. Then of course we had to go to the water fountains and get ourselves nice and wet. The kids loved it.

Later that night we all went up the canyon for a camp fire and songs. Carrie had a wonderful song where Will showed his crazy side for all of us to enjoy. And thanks to Jason for the guitar and music we all got to participate in, Chellie as well!

Saturday was busy with playing games, Rock Band was our fav. We also did some fun crafts. Check out Noah's cool visor that he is sporting.

Later we played games outside, "Duck off a rock" was one of the fun ones pictured, as well as watermelon eating.

Good times.
