Jason is gone for three days

Today Jason left for Vegas with his Dad for a convention, audio engineers, so much fun! So I will be flying it solo for a while. It was perfect timing with me getting sick and all. Thanks very much to our neighbors, the Pynes, that took Noah to church because he so badly didn't want to miss.

I tried to get some rest while my little Gwen ransacked the house. No real damage, just more cleaning up for me.

Things are going really well with my new business "Cents of Style." I have had quite a few parties, with many lined up for this month and the next few months as well. I love doing this and it is so much fun to get out and sell these cute accessories to people. I don't make a fortune, but it is definitely worth my time.

I had a party in Tremonton yesterday where I swear they bought nearly half my inventory. Ok, not half, but pretty darn close.

Thanks to my friends and family who have been supportive with this and I love to see you get excited with me. It really means a lot. And for my sis Emily coming to help me at the Tremonton party, I know you were bored half the time, but it was really nice getting to spend some time with my little sis. We never get that time and I loved it! I feel like I am accepting an award for something. LOL.

Anyway, things are going well other than a little cold here and there.

Jason is still in the middle of getting his MBA at U of Phoenix. The class he is in right now is a killer, but luckily the final is on Wednesday, but that will also be hard for him to finish it all with being out of town until then. So pray for him. He is afraid of not keeping his 4.0., which is something I haven't seen since I was in elementary school. Way to go BABE!

Noah is our little ham. He is constantly doing tricks and jumping off things, which I love! Here he is sporting my glasses and making a silly face like he always does. Noah loves preschool and asked almost every day if it is preschool today.

He is such a wonderful big brother and tries to include his sister when he is playing. He is a big helper to me and listens most of the time. He is learning not to lie and he has a big desire to be good and please his family. I love my little boy.

This was Gwen's first "real" ponytail. Noah said she looked like a little girl from our ward, Phoebe, which she totally does. The ponytail didn't last for long, just like everything else I try.

Gwen is learning so fast. She is signing and talking constantly. She is obsessed with shoes and accessories. She is definitely my daughter! She loves to follow Noah around yelling his name all the while. She loves books and is constantly bringing us books and puzzles all day long.

She loves to dance and sing. Her favorite songs are "if your happy and you know it," "wheels on the bus," "Ring around the Rosies" and anything else that we sing to her, even if it is "la, la, la." And if she wasn't whining right now I think I could go off on her forever. But I will spare you and her by giving her the attention she needs.

Hope all is well in your world!

Cruise Pics, finally!

Just about to leave the dock in Florida.

We had a safety drill and had to wear our life jackets. A little difficult to kiss, don't you think?

Cents of Style

Cents of Style

Cents of Style is a company that sells accessories such as jewelry, headbands, handbags and shoes for a great price. Most of it is $10 or less. In today's economy it is great to find stylish things for a great price. Check out some of the product at www.mycentsofstyle.com Most of the items are there to take home that day!

I have started this new business, being a Cents of Style Stylist, and I would love to share all these cute, wonderfully inexpensive items with you. This is a party business, but these parties are as easy going as it gets. You will not get bombarded with me trying to push you to sell something or to ask you to host a party if you don't want to. I especially won't ask anyone to become a stylist with me unless it is something you come to me and want to do. What I am trying to say is that all I want is to share this product with you and show you what awesome deals they are!

So if you have a minute check out the website: www.mycentsofstyle.com. This site is informational and not yet ready for online purchasing, that is in the works. Also the items you see are only a small sample of what is offered at a party.

What is also great, not one show is like the next. We are constantly changing items with the season. So the possibility of throwing another party, without the same old things to be shown again, is something many people are already doing.

The items that are sold are comparable to Target value, without the mark up that retailers do. That is why I was so excited to get involved with a company that I would actually want to buy things from myself, and afford them!

I'm really not trying to sell you, I am just excited about what I am doing. I think I actually have a job now that I just might love.

If you are interested please contact me by leaving a message on this posting, emailing or calling me, if you have that information. When you leave a reply to this post please leave you contact information. As soon as I receive it, I will take your personal information off so no one else can see it.

Book your party soon! (Those who host a party also get extra bonuses!)

Cruisin'

Jason and I just got back from our first cruise to Key West and Cozumel. We had a wonderful time on the ship, parasailing in Key West and shopping and hanging out at the beach in Cozumel.

The last day, Sunday, we sailed back to Tampa, Florida all day long. Well we were planning on hanging out at the pool all day and soaking up all the sun, but there was no sun to be soaked! We had 25 to 30-ft. swells and we didn't dare go far from our room. We did venture out and play Apples to Apples with a large fun group for a few hours, that took my mind off the crazy swaying boat. We were able to go to dinner, that was in the middle of the boat so at least the movement wasn't as much as the front or back. We had to pack and have our bags out of our door by 11pm, so we packed for a while, then had to rest, then pack again. Needless to day it took us quite a while to do this easy task.

That evening there was a show for ending the cruise, we didn't make that, but my sister and I (my sister Trish and Julie were on the cruise as well, it was Trish's work cruise) tried to venture out a little for the Karaoke finals. I made it about ten minutes because the theater is at the front of the boat and the swells were so big I was trying my best not to loose it. So I decided to go back. I cannot tell you how many people I ran into or hung onto while walking back to my room. Quite the experience.

Jason claims we won't go on a cruise again, but maybe quite a few years down the road we can think about it again.

Pictures to come...

Sledding Babes

The kids had so much fun sledding. We even let Noah take Gwen down by himself. Gwen wasn't happy if she wasn't on the sled.

Unfortunately, we didn't have snow pants for Gwen so we layered her up, but it ended up soaking through by the end. Poor cold little lady!

This was after Noah and I went down the "really big" hill. He loved every second of it, so did I!

So cute!

I got my exercise that day, don't you think? I am a kid at heart. I just love activities like this. Can't wait until the next time.

Two weeks of BLAH!

We have all been sick here at the Jayrie house. (by the way, Jayrie is not our last name, it is Jason and Marie put together) We have all now had the stomach flu. It all started with Gwen, last Monday night, then me on Thursday night, then we thought Jason had it on Friday but maybe it was just some bad food because he had it last night. Oh and Noah got it Saturday night.

Oh so much fun! I wish we all could get sick like this all the time.

Unfortunately Jason had to go to work today for a big meeting. So he signed the attendence sheet (they still have those outside of school?) and spent the rest of the meeting in the bathroom. Gotta love it!

So I am super behind on posting. So over the next few days I will update more because we are going to be leaving on our cruise to Key West & Cosumel next Wednesday! So I will need to have it up to date so there is plenty of room/time to post about our trip! I am so happy we all got sick before then. At least Jason and I will have a good time and the kids won't be oh so sick while staying at Aunt Margie's house.

Stay tuned! More to come soon.
