M.I.A

Sorry was have been busy lately. Jason had work off last week so we got to hang out with Daddy. We went to Lagoon twice, the second time was mostly Lagoon-A-Beach and the first time we got to hang out with our family, Bart, Lisa, Livie and Jeremiah. Noah had a blast! But he was sure tired, and that was good for everyone. I will post pictures later.

Most of the week we just relaxed, had dinner with some friends and just enjoyed our family. We ate out way too much and on Friday night Jason and I got a, much needed, night away. Thanks to their Aunt Trish for taking care of our kids while we played.

Towards the end of the week I got a cold and I am now just feeling up to par, but Gwen got it too. But we are doing well and we are happy.

Jason is working hard on his accounting class, that is totally kicking his butt. He is a hard worker and I would be surprised if he didn't get an A out of this class, like he does with all his other classes. I'm so proud of you babe!

Dishwasher Bliss!

So here is my new dishwasher. Hooray!!! I was so excited to do the dishes yesterday. I even put in dishes that weren't completely washed off. I mean they had food and grease that normally I would have to scrub to the point of practically washing it. And guess what! They all came out sparkly clean! Can you believe it? Dishwashers actually do what they are suppose to do.

Just a reminder, my old dishwasher would actually make my dishes dirtier than when they went in. So I am very excited for a working dishwasher.

Hooray for our friend that works at RC Willey who told us about a sweet deal of a floor model that they were selling for almost half off. Plus he gave us extra discounts of his. Fabulous! Thanks Jeremy!

Noah's 3rd Birthday Party

We had fun at Liberty Park on Saturday for Noah's 3rd Birthday Party. It was so nice of our families to take time and come celebrate with us. We love you all!

Gwen is not sure about the parade. But she did really well through the entire thing despite not feeling well because she was cutting another tooth. Poor girl.

"Daddy make me happy"

Just waiting for the parade to continue and get more candy!

What's coming next? Noah just loved the parade. He was so sad when it was over.

Here is a "Pirate Ship" that was in the parade. One of the teenage boys came up to Noah and asked him if he wanted to be a pirate and get on the ship. Noah was so scared, all he could do was cling to me and shake his head no. Although I think he did want to go on it. He's really been into pirates and bad guys and things like that.

They almost look the same from behind.

Noah loved this big slide, but not enough to go by himself. So I got to slide down with him. FYI, not made for adults.

Noah loved doing this blow-up obstacle course and he got really good at it. Carnivals are so much fun. We enjoyed ourselves in the little celebration in Clearfield.

12 Week Transformation Challenge

So here I go announcing to all of you who care to read this that I have signed up for a 12 week transformation challenge with Fit Yummy Mummy (fityummymummy.com). It is this great program that I have been doing and today I decided to join the ranks and be accountable for what I do and what I put in my body.

You are all my witnesses and now I have no excuse to go back to my lazy eating habits. I have always done well with exercise, it's the eating that kills me everyday.

It is going to be hard work but I am excited for the finished product. So for all of you to see, here are my beginning pictures. (don't worry, I am the modest type)

Check out Fit Yummy Mummy and see what it is all about. Let me know what you think.

I'm on the road to being a yummy mummy!

Awesome read!

For those of you who haven't read Shannon Hale, shame on you. She is a wonderful author. Here is the most recent book I have read from her.
"Book of a Thousand Days"

This book is writing in diary form and I could not put it down. Usually I take quite a while to read a book, I'm not the fastest reader and the book really has to catch my interest in order for me to continue on. Well this one did and my children were sadly neglected on Monday.

I started this Sunday night and ended up staying up until almost 1am. I didn't even realize what time it was and how much I read because of how this book is written. There are no chapters, just a diary of a lady's maid and her lady. They are locked in a brick tower and it is the story of what happens. It is a great book.

This is a juvenile book, but I am still a teenager at heart I guess. It is an easy read and really interesting. I suggest you try it out.

You can also read her other books: Goose Girl, Enna Burning, River Secrets (series), there is also the Princess Academy, which I need to get from my sister, Cindy, to read next.

Happy reading!!!

Little Chomper

Gwen got her first tooth the other day. It is so cute on the bottom of her little mouth. I did try to take a picture of it, but all I got was me trying to hold open her mouth and almost gagging her. So needless to say, I didn't get a good picture.
