Awesome read!

For those of you who haven't read Shannon Hale, shame on you. She is a wonderful author. Here is the most recent book I have read from her.
"Book of a Thousand Days"

This book is writing in diary form and I could not put it down. Usually I take quite a while to read a book, I'm not the fastest reader and the book really has to catch my interest in order for me to continue on. Well this one did and my children were sadly neglected on Monday.

I started this Sunday night and ended up staying up until almost 1am. I didn't even realize what time it was and how much I read because of how this book is written. There are no chapters, just a diary of a lady's maid and her lady. They are locked in a brick tower and it is the story of what happens. It is a great book.

This is a juvenile book, but I am still a teenager at heart I guess. It is an easy read and really interesting. I suggest you try it out.

You can also read her other books: Goose Girl, Enna Burning, River Secrets (series), there is also the Princess Academy, which I need to get from my sister, Cindy, to read next.

Happy reading!!!

Little Chomper

Gwen got her first tooth the other day. It is so cute on the bottom of her little mouth. I did try to take a picture of it, but all I got was me trying to hold open her mouth and almost gagging her. So needless to say, I didn't get a good picture.

Coolness!

Gwen is trying out her new Bumble that we borrowed from our friend. (Don't worry we are not going to leave her by herself on the counter)

"Um, yes. I'll be in my trailer if you need me"

Just contemplating life and what shall I put in my mouth next!

Keeping Busy

We went to the mall and there is this little play area where Noah had a great time.

Um, is he trying to tell me something? Maybe Mommy shouldn't talk on the phone and drive. Oops!

Noah's first paint experience and he is loving it. I bought these cars for less than a $1 and we decided to paint them. He did such a good job and used all the colors he possible could, plus mixing the colors gives you more. Noah was really entertained for a long time with this, which was nice for Mom.

Masterpiece No. 1

Masterpiece No. 2 (action shot) Good work Noah, my little Picasso.

Summer Fun

Playing with water is so much fun. Hours and hours of fun in the sun! Doesn't Noah look like he has a six pack in this picture? What a ripped dude!

Action shot after running through the water.

Home at Last!

Two days later we finally welcome Jason home from his long trip. We were all glad that he made it home safe. No more traveling for a long time. Thanks goodness.

Thanks to all who called or wrote me. We are doing much better with Jason around.

Curitiba Brazil Temple

So Jason has been in Curitiba, Brazil for over a week now to help with the dedication of the new temple there. He is an audio engineer for the LDS Church and so sometimes he gets to go help out with these kinds of events.

They sent down audio equipment a long time before the dedication was to take place, but Brazil would not let it out of customs for them to use it. So they all had to pack equipment with them in their luggage.

Jason worked very hard down there and everything seemed to go really well. We are all glad for that.

Now that it is done Jason have been trying to come home. His flight was canceled yesterday due to rain. Rain? I almost had a tizzy fit! But I guess when the runway is flooding there is nothing they can do about it. It is their winter right now, so I guess they get a lot of rain. Plus there is a rain forest down there, right?

Jason was suppose to be home today at about 1pm, but he won't be home until 3pm or so tomorrow.

Needless to say I was a little bummed out. I was hoping to have my husband back by today, but I guess I will settle for having him home safe and sound tomorrow.
