Girls trip to San Francisco = BEST HUSBAND EVER!

This last weekend I took a trip to San Francisco with my sister Trish to visit my other sister Julie. We had a wonderful time shopping, talking girl talk, shopping, eating, shopping, more eating and what else? Oh yes, SHOPPING!

I never get to just take my time in a store with my two kids in tow, and if I am alone I am trying to hurry so I can get home to my kids. This time I was taking my precious time, even ask my sister Trish who decided I was the slowest shopper ever! I loved trying on everything. There was this cute little store where I tried on about 10 headbands. Now these headbands were so unique and inventive. I wanted to take them home. But when the elastic band headband with a cute sparkly buckle on it was $65, I decided that trying on would be much more fun than spending all my money. But seriously these headbands were crazy awesome! There was one that looked like laced silver, another that had feathers on it, but it wasn't tacky. If I had some place to go, like a fancy party or something I would definitely like to sport that one. And my favorite what the wirey one that actually looked like an inventive hat that you would pin on the side/top of your head. If you miss this before, it was SERIOUSLY AWESOME!!!

It was so nice not having kids, but I also missed them terribly! But this trip wouldn't have been possibly without my generous sister Trish who let me use a buddy pass for the airplane ride. Plus Julie letting us stay at her house. Love ya Jules!

I feel like I am saying an acceptance speech for an award or something. hahaha.

Last, but certainly not least, the father of my children and the love of my life, Jason!!! He not only took care of the kids while I was gone (taking three days off of work to do so), but he also cleaned the entire house and made me feel so relaxed and special. He is so thoughtful and sweet. AND HE'S ALL MINE!!!

So if you are still reading, I'm sorry, but happy you aren't as bored as I thought others would be reading this post!

I wish I could take this trip every year. It really rejuvenated me and I feel like I can be even a better mother because I was able to take a little breather and be selfish for just five days. I love my kids, but ME TIME is a necessity to stay sane! I recommend this to anyone.

How is Julie? I haven't seen her in 5 years or so. It sounds like you had a good time.
